The Guidelines of Student Assistant Management Development of The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi and Phranakhonsiayutthaya

Abstract

The purposes of this study were as follows: (1) To study the current conditions in the implementation of the student care and support system in school under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Nonthaburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. (2) To study the desirable conditions for the implementation of the student care and support system in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Nonthaburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. (3) To investigate guideline for development of the student care and support system in schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Nonthaburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya with the quality development process and focus group in creating a guideline for the development of the student care and support system of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Nonthaburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. The sample group was divided into 2 groups, Sample group 1: 353 school director or deputy director, Student affairs and teacher. Sample group 2: 7 specialists in student care and support system. There were 2 types of research instruments: 1) current condition questionnaire. The desirable condition in the operation of the student care and support system. 2) Focus group, the data was analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and priority needs index (PNI)

The findings revealed that:

1. The implementation of student care and support system of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, were at the high level (= 4.405).
2. Desirable conditions for the implementation of the student care and support system of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nonthaburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, were at the high level (= 3.91). When analyzing priority needs index (PNI_modified) in the implementation of the student care and support system of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Nonthaburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. The order of needs is descending. The order is as follows: the aspects with the highest values (PNI_modified) 2 aspects: 1) the student classification (PNI_modified = 0.119) and 2) the student promotion (PNI_modified = 0.112) 3) the prevention and problem solving (PNI_modified = 0.112) 4) referring (PNI_modified = 0.112) and 5) knowing student individually (PNI_modified = 0.096)
3. Suitability assessment results Guidelines for the development of student care and support systems of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office, Nonthaburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, found that overall was appropriate at the highest level (= 4.836).
