This article presents quantitative research aiming to investigate pre-service teachers’ perceptions on use of Facebook for educational purposes and investigate their perceptions on the use of Facebook for English language teaching. The sample was 50 third- and fourth-year students majoring in English language teaching. They were randomly selected. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results revealed that pre-service teachers’ perceptions on the use of Facebook for educational purposes and for English language teaching were moderate.
