Abstract

Forest resources which is the natural resources are being used to meet the demands or the goal of economic in nowadays. It leads to the deterioration of natural resources and environment. This type of used assumes to destroy the balance and decreases abilities of ecosystem’s functions. Many areas are not able to restore the system back to normal which affects to the damage of environment and highly loss in economic. Therefore, it should have the particular laws associated with Payment for Ecosystem Services or PES. In other words, the individuals or the foresters will earn the money for the benefits of forest ecosystem. Because there is not enough funding to effectively administrate the forest ecosystem, thus, the payment will be used to restore the damage of the forest ecosystem.

Hence, it needs to study the measures of international laws so as to lead to the solutions or improved relevant laws. This is to ensure that the forest ecosystem will be prevented and determined the criteria for the payment for ecosystem service from forest ecosystem and how payment rate works. Also, the measures are to manage the service fee to enrich the forest ecosystem. In case of already collecting the service fee from the benefits of forest ecosystem, then which sections will be allocated. However, it must be considered on the forest ecosystem prevention with the development of living in surrounding communities which have been involved in reserving the forest and continuously taking care of forest ecosystem in Thailand.
