ปริมาณและการใช้หนังสือที่จัดหาตามการเสนอแนะของอาจารย์มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีตามสาขาวิชาที่จัดหาในช่วงปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2546 – 2549 (ระยะที่ 2)

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปริมาณหนังสือที่จัดหาตามการเสนอแนะของอาจารย์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีที่จัดหาในช่วงปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2546 - 2549 ในแต่ละสาขาวิชาที่อาจารย์สังกัดและเพื่อศึกษาปริมาณการใช้หนังสือที่จัดหาตามการเสนอแนะของอาจารย์ มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารีที่ จัดหาในช่วงปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2546 - 2549 ในแต่สาขาวิชาที่อาจารย์สังกัด ใช้แบบบันทึกข้อมูลนับความถี่ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นเป็นเครื่องมือในการวิจัย และวิเคราหะ์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงบรรยายด้วยโปรแกรม Microsoft Excel ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) อาจารย์ส่วนใหญ่ในทุกสาขาวิชาเสนอแนะให้จัดหาหนังสือภาษาต่างประเทศมากกว่าหนังสือภาษาไทย ยกเว้นสาขาวิชาศึกษาทั่วไป และสาขาวิชาการอาชีวอนามัยและความปลอดภัยที่เสนอให้จัดหาหนังสือภาษาไทยมากกว่าหนังสือภาษาต่างประเทศ 2) หนังสือภาษาไทยมีการใช้มากกว่าภาษาต่างประเทศ 3) อัตราการใช้โดยเฉลี่ย 6.27 ครั้งต่อเล่ม โดยหนังสือในสาขาวิชาที่มีอัตราการใช้ต่อเล่มมากที่สุด คือ สาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อม มีอัตราการใช้ 29.03 ครั้งต่อเล่ม รองลงมาคือ สาขาวิชาเคมี มีอัตราการใช้ 17.07 ครั้งต่อเล่ม และสาขาวิชาวิศวกรรมอุตสาหการ มีอัตราการใช้โดยเฉลี่ย 2.95 ครั้งต่อเล่ม และหนังสือภาษาไทย มีอัตราการใช้โดยเฉลี่ย 18.10 ครั้งต่อเล่ม

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study quantity of book provided as per recommendations of lecturers in different schools of Suranaree University of Technology (รบT) in 2003-2006 fiscal years, and to รณdy the uses of books provided as per recommendations of lecturers in different schools of รบT in 2003-2006. The research instrument was a data record form of frequency constructed by researchers through the Microsoft Excel program. Research data were analyzed by the descriptive statistics. The research results were found as follows: 1) the recommended books, it was found that books published in foreign language were more recommended by most lecturers of every school than the ones published in Thai. However, except recommendations by lecturers of School of General Education and the School of Occupational Health and Safety which were recommended to provide more books published in Thai than the ones published in foreign language. 2) Total number of book using was found that books published in Thai were more frequently used than the ones published in foreign language. 3) The use rate was 6.27 times per book. It was found that books recommended by lecturers of the School of Environmental Engineering, School of Chemistry and the School of Industrial Engineering were used with the highest use rates I.e. 29.03 time/book, 17.07 times/book and 11.00 times/book7 respectively. When considering about language used in books, it was found that books published in foreign language got the highest use rate, 2.95 times/book. As for the books published in Thai, the average use rate was 18.10 times/book.
