การสอนการรู้สารสนเทศทางสุขภาพเปน็ กิจกรรมที่มีความสำคัญในการพัฒนาทักษะการแสวงหา ประเมินและใช้สารสนเทศเพื่อการตัดสินใจเกี่ยวกับการดูแลสุขภาพที่ดีของประชาชน โดยกิจกรรมดังกล่าวเป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างบรรณารักษ์สาขาวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพและผู้สอนหรือบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ในการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนให้แก่นักศึกษา ผู้ป่วย ครอบครัวผู้ป่วย และประชาชนทั่วไป บทความนี้นำเสนอเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับแนวคิดของการรู้สุขภาพและการรู้สารสนเทศทางสุขภาพ โปรแกรมการรู้สารสนเทศทางสุขภาพ บทบาทของบรรณารักษ์วัตถุประสงค์การเรียนรู้และขอบเขตเนื้อหา และกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน ซึ่งผูมี้ส่วนเกี่ยวข้องสามารถนำแนวคิดนี้ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนหรือกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการรู้สารสนเทศทางสุขภาพ

Abstract

Health information literacy instruction is an important activity for developing the individuals’ skillsthat focus on retrieving, assessing, and using the information for good health decision making. Healthlibrarians will collaborate with faculty staff or health care providers in providing the health information literacyinstruction for students, patients, family, and the members of community. This article presents concept ofhealth literacy and health information literacy, health information literacy program, roles of librarians, learningobjectives and scope of contents, and instructional management. People who involve in this area can applythe concept in their course instruction and activity conduction.
