บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) รวบรวมผลงานวิชาการของคณาจารย์และนักวิจัย คณะเกษตรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ที่ตีพิมพ์ในวารสารระดับนานาชาติ ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2548 – 2553 จากฐานข้อมูลสากล 2) ศึกษาจำนวนผลงานวิชาการที่ได้รับการอ้างอิง (Cited Reference) สืบค้นค่า Impact Factor ของวารสารวิชาการระดับนานาชาติ และค่า h – index ของคณาจารย์และนักวิจัย ที่ส่งผลงานไปตีพิมพ์ 3) เปรียบเทียบจำนวนผลงานวิชาการของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ กับจำนวนผลงานวิชาการของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ และ 4) พัฒนาฐานข้อมูลเพื่อจัดเก็บผลงานวิชาการ คณะเกษตรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบบันทึกข้อมูลและแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการแจกแจงความถี่ หาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการพัฒนาระบบ ได้แก่ โปรแกรมพีเอชพีและมายเอสคิวแอล ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ปี พ.ศ. 2548 – 2553 คณาจารย์และนักวิจัยคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ ตีพิมพ์ผลงานวิจัยในฐานข้อมูลสากล จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 216 บทความ โดยปีที่มีการตีพิมพ์มากที่สุด คือ ปี 2010 (56 บทความ) โดยบทความตีพิมพ์ในปี 2008 ได้รับการอ้างอิงมากที่สุด (28 บทความ) ปี 2008 มีจำนวนครั้งที่ถูกอ้างมากที่สุดคือ 147 ครั้ง ผลงานวิชาการที่ได้รับการอ้างอิงสูงสุด ได้แก่ ผลงานวิจัยเรื่อง “Year around off season flower induction in longan (Dimocarpus longan, Lour.) trees by KClO3 applications: potentials and problems” ถูกอ้างอิงจำนวน 38 ครั้ง วารสารที่คณาจารย์และนักวิจัยตีพิมพ์ผลงานวิชาการและมีค่า Impact Factors ปี 2010 สูงสุด ได้แก่ วารสาร MOLECULAR ECOLOGY (Impact Factors = 6.457) คณาจารย์และนักวิจัย ที่มีค่า h – index สูงสุด ได้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เบญจวรรณ ฤกษ์เกษม (h – index = 10) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบจำนวนผลงานวิชาการของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ กับจำนวนผลงานวิชาการของคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ จากฐานข้อมูล Scopus พบว่า ปี 2548 – 2553 คณะที่ตีพิมพ์ผลงานวิชาการมากที่สุดคือ คณะเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ บางเขน (327 บทความ) ส่วนคณะเกษตรศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ อยู่ลำดับที่ 4 (181 บทความ) สำหรับการประเมินประสิทธิผลระบบในภาพรวมของผู้ดูแลระบบและผู้ใช้ฐานข้อมูลอยู่ในระดับมาก มีค่าเฉลี่ย 3.80 และ 4.40

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to collect academic articles of lecturers and researchersin Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University published in international journals since 2005-2010 frominternational databases 2) to study the numbers of cited reference 3) to search impact factor of internationaljournals and explore h-index of the lecturers and researchers who published their articles and 4) to comparethe numbers of academic articles of Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University and other universitiesand to develop database system for storing the academic articles of Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang MaiUniversity. The research tools of this study were recording form and questionnaire. Data was analyzedby frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The database system was developed by usingPHP and MySQL programs. The fi ndings were that in the year of 2005-2010, the lecturers and researcherspublished their articles in 216 topics in international databases. Most articles were published in the year2010 (56 articles). The articles published in 2008 were cited the most (28 articles). As for number of timesfor citation, the articles were cited for 147 times. The research entitled “Year around off season fl owerinduction in Longan Trees (Dimocarpus Longan, Lour.) by KClO3 applications: potentials and problems”was cited the most (38 times). The journal entitled “MOLECULAR ECOLOGY” had impact factors the most(6.457). Professor Dr. Benjavan Rerkasem had h-index value the most (h – index = 10). According to thecomparison of the number of academic articles of Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University and theacademic articles of other universities from Scopus database, it was found that, the Faculty of Agriculture,Kasetsart University, Bang Khen published 327 articles, and Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai Universitypublished 181 articles. Result of the overall system evaluated by the administrators and users was effi cientat a good level ( = 3.80, = 4.40).
