การวิเคราะห์ระบบสารสนเทศด้านการวิจัยจากเว็บไซต์ ของมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัย

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการพัฒนาประเทศเพื่อให้สามารถแข่งขันทัดเทียมกับประเทศอื่น ๆ ได้ โดยไม่ต้องพึ่งพิงเทคโนโลยีจากต่างชาติ ในสังคมไทยมองว่ามหาวิทยาลัยเป็นแหล่งผลิตบุคลากรด้านการวิจัย และแหล่งผลิตผลงานวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพของประเทศ จึงได้เกิดโครงการมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัยแห่งชาติขึ้น ดังนั้นงานวิจัยนี้จึงได้วิเคราะห์ระบบสารสนเทศด้านการวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยวิจัย พบว่า มหาวิทยาลัยทั้ง 9 แห่ง มีระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อสนับสนุนการวิจัย โดยส่วนใหญ่มีการพัฒนาระบบในลักษณะที่แยกเป็นฐานข้อมูลย่อย ๆ แต่ไม่เชื่อมโยงกัน ทำให้ไม่สามารถติดตามผลงานวิจัยได้ โดยข้อมูลหลักที่จัดเก็บเหมือนกันคือ ข้อมูลงานวิจัย ข้อมูลนักวิจัย ข้อมูลการตีพิมพ์และการนำเสนอในการประชุมวิชาการ และข้อมูลทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา แต่ยังมีความขัดแย้งของข้อมูลคือ ชื่อไม่ตรงกัน และการให้ความหมายแตกต่างกันทำให้การบูรณาการข้อมูลการวิจัยเป็นไปได้ยาก จึงควรได้มีการพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อสนับสนุนการวิจัยที่ให้ความสำคัญกับโครงสร้างของระบบที่ฐานข้อมูลย่อย ๆ สามารถเชื่อมโยงกันได้และพัฒนามาตรฐานข้อมูลตามหลักการ ontology-based metadata เพื่อการบูรณาการ

Abstract

Research is fundamental in developing countries to compete on par with other countries withoutrelying on foreign technology. In social perspective, universities regard as the institute for producing qualityresearch and researcher for country. Hence, the national research universities project was established.Therefore, this paper analyzes research information systems in research universities. It is found that all ofnine research universities have the information systems to support research. Most of them were developedas system including a lot of database, but not linked together. So, it is impossible to follow up research. The important data are research project, researcher, publication and proceeding in the conference, intellectualproperty portfolio. However, there are conflicting data problems. The list of data which collected are notthe same, the names do not match, and different meaning so the integration of research data is difficult.It should develop information systems to support research on the structure of the database can be linkedtogether, and development of data standards by ontology-based metadata approach integration for sharingresearch data between the heterogeneous systems.
