การพัฒนาโปรแกรมประยุกต์ เพื่อการควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม (Developing of the Application for Controlling the Bibliographic Records)

บทคัดย่อ

     งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อหาเงื่อนไขและวิธีการควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม เพื่อพัฒนาโปรแกรมประยุกต์สำหรับการควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม และเพื่อประเมินผล การควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม ประกอบด้วยการศึกษา 3 ส่วนคือ (1) การศึกษาเบื้องต้น เป็นการศึกษาเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องและการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากคณะกรรมการเครือข่าย ThaiLIS และ (2) การพัฒนาโปรแกรมควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม เป็นการพัฒนาระบบ การนำเข้าข้อมูล และการทดสอบโปรแกรมควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม จำนวน 940,062 ระเบียน และ (3) การประเมินผลโปรแกรมการควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม เป็นการจัดประชุมกลุ่มตัวแทนจากห้องสมุดสมาชิกเครือข่าย ThaiLIS จำนวน 24 แห่ง
     ผลการศึกษา พบว่า (1) แนวทางการควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม ประกอบด้วย มาตรฐานของระเบียนบรรณานุกรม ทั้งในด้านรูปแบบและโครงสร้างข้อมูล กฎเกณฑ์การ ตรวจสอบและควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม ทั้งในด้านโครงสร้าง ระดับการทำรายการ และ ความซํ้าซ้อนของรายการ (2) การออกแบบโครงสร้างทางสถาปัตยกรรมของระบบ (2) การ พัฒนาโปรแกรมควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม ได้แก่ MARC Analyzer, UC Connexion Client, UC Client และ (3) การประเมินผลการใช้โปรแกรมควบคุมระเบียนบรรณานุกรม สามารถตรวจสอบโครงสร้างตามข้อกำหนดได้ทั้งระดับ National, Minimal, และ UC level สามารถสรุปข้อผิดพลาดของระเบียน และปัญหาที่เกี่ยวข้อง ซึ่งจะนำไปใช้เพื่อพัฒนา โปรแกรมควบคุมความถูกต้องของฐานข้อมูล Union Catalog for Thai Academic Libraries (UCTAL) ต่อไป

Abstract

      The purposes of this research aim to identify the syntax, to develop the application, and to evaluate its syntax and its application for controlling the bibliographic records. It includes 3 parts of research. Firstly is the preliminary research which applied the document analysis and in-depth interview related to the committee of ThaiLIS network. Secondly is the experimental research which applied for developing the application and testing the data sampling 940,062 records from ThaiLIS union catalog database. Finally is survey research which applied the focus group of 24 libraries member from ThaiLIS network.
      The research results are included (1) the approach for controlling the bibliographic records includes the standard of bibliographic format and data structure, the syntax for controlling the data structure, level of cataloging, and its duplication. (2) The applications were designed the system architecture and developed included MARC Analyzer, Union Connexion Client, UC Client (3) The applications of this study are able to check the data structure in 3 levels includes national, minimal, and UC level, and also summarized the error records and other problems related to bibliographic records. These results are important for developing the other parts of the application of Union Catalog for Thai Academic Libraries (UCTAL) in the future.
