     บทความนี้กล่าวถึงความหมายโดยทั่วไปของห้องสมุดดิจิทัล ความหมายของ ห้องสมุดดิจิทัลในมุมมองบริบททางสังคม ความสำคัญของการปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม ระหว่างชุมชนผู้ใช้กับห้องสมุดดิจิทัล เทคโนโลยีเว็บ 2.0 ตัวอย่างห้องสมุดดิจิทัลที่ ประยุกต์ใช้เครื่องมือทางสังคมเช่น เทคโนโลยีเว็บ 2.0 และเครื่องมืออื่นๆ เพื่อสนับสนุน การปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมระหว่างผู้ใช้ในชุมชนออนไลน์

ABSTRACT

     The article reviews the information on “Applying social tools to Digital Libraries” in the following areas: The defi nition of digital libraries in general and in the context of society, the signifi cance of social interaction in user communities of digital libraries, web 2.0 technologies and examples of digital libraries that are applied social tools such as web 2.0 technologies and other tools for supporting user interaction in a virtual community.
