Designing of Augmented Reality Media for Eastern Center of Art and Culture

Augmented reality technology is easier to use because the user feels like they are working with real. Placing a virtual object in the context of the real world can deliver more meaningful and more memorable experiences. And when augmented reality integrated into learning resource there will be a more effective way to design learning resources.
The purposes of this research are to study eastern center of art and culture information, and design augmented reality media. As the result is augmented reality media for eastern center of art and culture in the form of mobile applications for use in the eastern center of art and culture, Burapha University. The research methods comprised of three steps: Step 1: Study eastern center of art and culture information. Step 2: Designing of augmented reality media for eastern center of art and culture. And, Step 3: Summary of usability testing. The three-steps of research process related with the six-stage of design process: idea study, user stories study, information design, wireframe design, visual design and usability testing. According to the research, augmented reality media for eastern center of art and culture designed from eastern center of art and culture identity. As the result of the questionnaires, the user’s satisfaction with augmented reality media for eastern center of art and culture in overall was at a high level. Furthermore, the media can indicate the value and the important of eastern center of art and culture augmented reality media and perspectives, feature design, and usability testing. The study fndings reveal that the researcher uses the feature of the center as the outstanding point in designing the media. The media usability testing result also indicates that its users are satisfed with the media at a high level and they realize the value and importance of the center.
