Factors Affecting Sexual Harassment and Gender Inequality Among Women in the Workplace of South Korea Societ

Abstract
This study aims to 1) examine the factors affecting sexual harassment and gender inequality among women in the workplace of South Korea society, and 2) to explore the sexual behaviors and their patterns. The study is drawn on the qualitative research method which primarily analyzes the content through Korean series, i.e. Something in the Rain, Because This is My First Fife, and Witch’s Court from 2017 to 2018.
The results indicate that the selected Korean series reflect the factors affecting the behaviors which may constitute sexual harassment and gender inequality among women in the workplace. The factors include natural and biological factors, social and cultural factors, and physical environment factors. In terms of the behaviors and the patterns of sexual harassment, there are three patterns found including verbal abuse, actions characteristic of stalking, and intentional physical contact.
