Significant Concepts in Literary Criticism and Literary Study: from Basic Education to Higher Education

An understanding of the role of language in communicating meanings, ideas, viewpoints and feelings has been an important concept in literary criticism and literary study from basic education to higher education. So has an understanding of its function in determining an individual;s social perception. In language and literary studies, these concepts are essential for conventional purposes. Specifically, the analysis, interpretation and inquiry of these concepts reflect an attempt to enliven a literary work for aesthetic appreciation and wisdom, including maturity and intellectual cultivation in young generation.
