The Effected Factors of Competitive Advantage of Gems and Jewelry Export Industries in Thailand
Abstract
The purpose of this survey research was to study the effected factors of competitive advantage of gems and jewelry export industries in Thailand. The samples in research is the export of gems and jewelry business. Selection method is based on a statistical sampling of 149 cases, representing 53.79 percent of the instruments used in research as a query about the 5 levels of data analysis had the reliability coefficient of 0.86 and competitive advantage had the reliability coefficient of 0.88. The statistics used to analyze the data were mean, frequency, percentage, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis. The results of this research were as follows: 1) The executives had opinions agreed with the effected factors of gems and jewelry was medium agreed in much level. 2) The executives had opinions agreed with competitive advantage of gems and jewelry was medium agreed in much level. 3) Factors had predictive power with competitive advantage at .01 level of significance in the aspects personnel capability, marketing capability, and R&D intensity and factors management capability at .05 level of significance. It revealed the predictive power of 62.0 percent.
