THE DEVELOPMENT OF ONLINE LOCAL LESSONS IN PAK PRAEK COMMUNITY, MUEANG, KANCHANABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research were : 1) to develop online local lessons in Pak Praek community, Mueang, Kanchanaburi province, 2) to assess the effectiveness of online local lessons in Pak Praek community, Mueang, Kanchanaburi province, and 3) to assess the satisfaction of users of online local lessons in Pak Praek community, Mueang, Kanchanaburi province. The researcher developed the lessons using Adobe Captivate 9 based on the Information System Development Circuit theory, Local Lesson Creation Process theory. The lessons were evaluated by 5 experts and measured for satisfaction by 76 users via the use of questionnaires.
The research results showed that the online local lessons could be accessed online from www.elearningbypakpraek.com using devices connected to an Internet network. The lessons contained contents of tales from ancient houses, fine works from ancient sites, pre-test and post-test. Each lesson consisted of slides, animation, audio content, text, and lesson content. The result of the online lesson performance evaluation in all aspects averaged at the highest level. The average value was 4.57. The researcher applied the lessons to students and teachers in community schools to assess the satisfaction with the online lessons. The users’ satisfaction in all aspects averaged at the highest level. The average value was 4.48.
