Abstract

Abstract

          This article has studied about traditional music of Hmong in Ban Pa Pai Khaokho, Phetchabun Province, used the ethnomusicology research methodology to describe, collect, and analyze data. The study found Qeej is that, it was difficult to identify the origin of Hmong music in the Hmong culture because there was no written language to pass on the history through generations. The regulations, common rules, and prohibitions were put to the music and literature. The physicality of Qeej of natural materials found generally in the near by forest such as wood and bamboo, brass was the major material for the reed. Qeej were the aerophones instrument. Field studies have shown that. The physicality Qeej of Plastic pipe was the major material.

            This study results were found the changes in Qeej from the Hmong Ethnic Group in
Ban Pa Pai Khaokho, Phetchabun province was the adjustment of to get along with the society and technology which have been developed all the time.
