Relationship Between Quality of Work Life and Organizational Commitment of Personnel in Institutions under Vocational Education in Krabi Province

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study quality of work life of personnel in institutions under vocational education in Krabi province, 2) study organizational commitment of personnel in institutions under vocational education in Krabi province and, 3) study relationship between quality of work life and organizational commitment of personnel in institutions under vocational education in Krabi province. Meanwhile, the sampling used in this research were 201 personnel in both private and public institutions under vocational education in Krabi province. In addition, research tool was the questionnaire whereas data was analyzed through descriptive statistics, composing of frequency, percentage, standard deviation, and Pearson Product Moment Correlation co-efficient.


          The research results were indicated as follows


  1. Quality of work life of personnel in institutions overall was at a very high level,

  2. Organizational commitment of the personnel in institutions was at a very high level, and 3. Quality of work life had positive relation with organizational commitment of the personnel in institutions at a medium level (r=.684) considered statistically significant at the .001 level.
