Perspectives of Secondary School Teachers towards the Operation of Student Support System in Surat Thani Province

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study teachers’ perspectives towards the operation of student support system, and 2) compare teachers’ perspectives towards the operation of student support system. Additionally, the sampling in this research were 272 secondary school teachers in Surat Thani Province. Importantly, the sampling was derived from using Krejcie and Morgan’s tables with a confidence level of 95%. Meanwhile, the questionnaire was used for collecting data, and statistics used for data analysis embraced percentage, mean, standard deviation, and One-Way ANOVA, and also Fisher's Least Significant Difference (LSD).


          The research findings indicated as follows:


  1.  Teachers’ perspectives towards the operation of student support system was overall at a good level, and

  2.  Comparing teachers’ perspectives towards the operation of student support system according to the sizes of school was in overall and in each aspect different with statistical significant at .001 level. Meanwhile, the results of comparing teachers’ perspectives towards the operation of student support system according to age, work experience, and educational qualification were found not different.
