Guidelines for Promoting Digital Literacy Among Higher Education Students

Abstract
Digital literacy in higher education has become increasingly crucial as technology and internet usage play vital roles in daily life. Developing digital knowledge and skills has become essential in preparing students for their future. This article aims to explain the definition and significance of digital literacy in higher education, including its components such as information literacy, digital media creation, creative expression, and effective data management. It addresses the awareness of digital ethics and legal considerations, as well as challenges
in higher education digital literacy arising from both users and information systems. Furthermore, the article suggests various approaches to promote digital literacy, such as computer software utilization, online collaboration, digital content creation, and adaptation of teaching and learning methods to align with current circumstances.
