บทคัดย่อ
นักวิชาการสายปรัชญาการเมืองไร้พรมแดนมองเห็นถึงการเปลี่ยนแปลงของพลเมืองทั่วทุกมุมโลกที่พร้อมจะก้าวข้ามไปสู่กิจกรรมนอกเส้นเขตแดน ปรากฎการณ์เช่นนี้นำมาซึ่งการพยายามเปลี่ยนกรอบศึกษาปรัชญาการเมืองเดิมไปสู่ปรัชญาการเมืองใหม่ที่มิได้ยึดกรอบรัฐชาติ วาระการเรียกร้องของพลเมืองปัจจุบันจึงก้าวกระโดดออกมาจากการเรียกร้องต้องการตามบริบทรัฐชาติไปสู่บริบทความเป็นสากลโลกโลกาภิวัตน์ บทความนี้เห็นด้วยกับกรอบคิดเช่นนี้เนื่องจากการเคลื่อนไหวของเยาวชนคนรุ่นใหม่ไทยระหว่างปี ค.ศ. 2020-2023 เป็นเครื่องยืนยันว่า กรอบคิดของเยาวชนคนรุ่นใหม่ไทยได้ก้าวข้ามบริบทรัฐชาติไปสู่ข้อเรียกร้องภายใต้ “คุณค่าศีลธรรมสากล” ตาม “ปฏิญญาสากลว่าด้วยสิทธิมนุษยชน” ทั้งในเรื่อง เสรีภาพการแสดงความคิดเห็นและปราศจากความกลัว ความยุติธรรมภายใต้กฎหมายที่เป็นธรรม และ ความเท่าเทียมในฐานะความเป็นมนุษย์เฉกเช่นเดียวกัน
ในอีกทางหนึ่งบทความนี้ชี้ให้เห็นการไม่สามารถปรับตัวได้ของรัฐไทยที่ทำในสิ่งตรงกันข้ามกัน การปิดกันการแสดงความคิดเห็นด้วยการสร้างความกลัวและการจับกุมคุมขังถูกใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการต่อต้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงโดยเฉพาะการต่อต้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ได้รับการส่งเสียงผ่านการเลือกตั้ง ทั้งหมดจึงนำมาซึ่งการจัดการขบวนการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้วยการสนับสนุนรัฐบาลข้ามขั้วและกำลังนำไปสู่การยุบพรรคการเมืองที่มีที่นั่งในสภาและคะแนนเสียงจากเจตจำนงค์ของประชาชนมากที่สุด
