บทคัดย่อ
นักฟุตบอลรุ่นเยาว์ในประเทศกาลังพัฒนาหรือประเทศพัฒนาน้อยที่สุดอาจได้รับประโยชน์จากสิทธิต่างๆ เมื่อย้ายไปประเทศในยุโรปเพื่อทางานในอุตสาหกรรมกีฬาฟุตบอล ประเทศในยุโรปได้รับอิทธิพลจากอียูในการพัฒนาสิทธิของเด็ก และนโยบายของอียูได้สร้างหลักการสาคัญในการแก้ไขปัญหาการค้ามนุษย์ในนักฟุตบอลรุ่นเยาว์ อียูและสมาชิกอียูยังได้ทางานเพื่อให้แน่ใจว่านักฟุตบอลรุ่นเยาว์และครอบครัวของพวกเขาตระหนักถึงสิทธิมนุษยชนของตน และต้องทาอย่างไรเมื่อพวกเขาสามารถถูกค้ามนุษย์และ/หรือแสวงหาผลประโยชน์ภายในและข้ามพรมแดนเพื่อจุดประสงค์ในการแสวงหาประโยชน์จากแรงงาน บทความฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาผลประทบจากพัฒนาการของกฎหมาย นโยบายและปฏิบัติการของอียูที่มุ่งปกป้องคุ้มครองนักกีฬาฟุตบอลรุ่นเยาว์และคุณธรรมในวงการกีฬาฟุตบอลยุโรป โดยแบ่งเนื้อหาเป็นหกส่วน สองส่วนแรกนาเสนอภาพรวมของพฤติกรรมการค้ามนุษย์จากการดาเนินการคัดเลือกนักกีฬาฟุตบอลรุ่นเยาว์ ส่วนที่สามนาเสนอความแตกต่างระหว่างเอเจนต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลจริงกับเอเจนต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลปลอม ส่วนที่สี่และส่วนที่ห้านาเสนอเกี่ยวกับการขจัดเอเจนต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลปลอมภายใต้การวางกฎระเบียบของฟีฟ่าและยูฟ่า ส่วนที่หกศึกษาวิเคราะห์กฎหมายสหภาพยุโรปในฐานะที่เป็นเครื่องมือต่อต้านและขจัดการค้ามนุษย์ในอุตสาหกรรมกีฬาฟุตบอลยุโรป
