Abstract

This research aims to study and synthesize the components of the ideas related to resource-based view through systematic literature reviews for electronic commerce presented in research works, academic articles, or various academic documents. It was found that there are a total of 40 articles that study the results of the Resource-Based View concept in the context of electronic commerce businesses. These articles were published in the online database "Academy of Management Annals" over a period of 10 years, from 2013 to 2023. The study results revealed that the concept of resource-based view for electronic commerce can be divided into two dimensions. The first dimension is tangible resources, which includes four components: 1.1) Current assets, 1.2) Physical assets, 1.3) Technological assets, and 1.4) Organizational system management. The second dimension is intangible resources, which includes four components: 2.1) Human capital, 2.2) Innovation, 2.3) Governance, and 2.4) Capabilities.
