Analysis of Teachers' Competency in learning Assessment of Small Schools in Pathum Thani Province

Abstract
The purpose of this research were to 1) analyze the current situation regarding teachers’ competency in learning assessment of small schools at Pathum Thani Province, 2) analyze problems and obstacles regarding teachers’ competency in learning assessment of small schools at Pathum Thani Province classified according to teaching experience and 3) study the self-development needs of teachers in learning assessment of small schools at Pathum Thani Province. Samples were 150 teachers randomized by multi-stage random sampling. Research instrument was a 5-point scale with Cronbach’s alpha reliability of 0.93. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics methods including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and F-test for one-way analysis of variance. The research findings were as follows:
1) teachers conduct learning assessment before class and during class in the assessment planning stage at a large level, after class, the teacher proceeded to the stage of applying the assessment results on a large level 2 problems and obstacles in learning assessment, both overall and in each aspect, do not differ according to teachers' teaching experiences and 3) teachers need additional training on creating learning achievement measurement tools. (Cognitive domain) in an onsite format that emphasizes operations.
