Strategy Map under Thailand’s National Strategy at the Provincial Level

Abstract

This qualitative research has studied strategic management concepts under Thailand’s National Strategy in terms of education that embraces the variables concerning a transformation of national policies into action plans of the educational organizations at the provincial level. The objectives of the study were 1) to investigate strategic management concepts under Thailand’s National Strategy concerning education in the provinces, and 2) to evaluate the results of strategic management concepts under Thailand’s National Strategy about education in the municipalities. The interviewees included twenty experts, and six professionals have participated in a focus group discussion. The employed research instrument was an unstructured interview form. Then, the data was analyzed using content analysis. The result indicated as follows: 1) The strategic management concepts under Thailand’s National Strategy at the provincial level comprised of five strategies: Acknowledging, Planning, Implementing, Monitoring and Evaluating, and Reporting. 2) The evaluation of five strategic management concepts under Thailand’s National Strategy at the provincial level was to be proven that they were accurate, appropriate, feasible, and useful.
