Efficiency of Cost Management and Competitive Advantage of Pineapple Planter Groups in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to 1) study behavior and the ways to increase efficiency cost of management and 2) study the methods to create a competitive advantage of pineapple planter groups by using mixed research methods. The research instruments were interview and questionnaires. Sample group was a community enterprise and pineapple planter groups selected by a specific selection total of 30 household. Analyzed by content analysis and percentage. The result of the research found that 1) Behavior of management must be managed to reduce the cost throughout the production process. By reduce upstream costs through cultivation costs, Midstream cost-cutting through harvest and transportation costs and downstream cost reduce processes through product distribution and market. And, the ways to increase efficiency of factors that have an effect on increase cost management efficiency are personnel support, market, and external support, respectively. And 2) Create a competitive advantage, 4 important points were (1) Learn, Establish a fully integrated learn unit in the community. (2) Management, There were groups to increase bargain power and exchange of knowledge together. (3) Production, Exchange production factors together and (4) Marketing, Upgrade the product to be a provincial souvenir.
