The Guidelines for the Potential Development of Phra Kilanupatthaka in Monk Health Care in Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province

Abstract
This research article has the following objectives: 1) to investigate monk health care in Buddhism; 2) to explore the potential development of Phra Kilanupatthkaa in monk health care in Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province; and 3) to propose the guidelines for the potential development of Phra Kilanupatthaka in monks’ health care in Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province. The study employed a qualitative research method by collecting data via documentary research and in-depth interviews with 24 monks residing in temples in Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province. The obtained data were analyzed and presented by a descriptive method.
The research results found that:
Regarding the Buddhist holistic well-being development, in term of Buddhism
dimension, In terms of Buddhist dimension, it is aligned with Bhāvanā (four developments), Tisikkhā (the threefold training), and Puññakiriyā-vatthu (three bases of meritorious action); in terms of culture, viewing problems from a holistic perspective of all things will reveal that they have an inseparable relationship, with individualistic traits, without being dominated by anybody or anything, resulting in happiness. The potential development of Phra Kilanupattha in monks’ health care in Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province. The importance Key is the participation of monks, monastic groups, temples, communities, society and all relevant network agencies in designing, developing, driving and reviewing the monk health constitution at The area level together. The guidelines for the potential development of Phra Kilanupatthaka in monk health care in Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province consist of three points: (1) developing a temple for health promotion as temple is an important basis for monks and health promotion (2) establishing an office for Phra Kilanupatthaka in Phon Sai District and (3) expanding a network to support the monks’ health care project.
