Abstract
The objectives of this research were to 1) study the level of participation in the administration of the Sangha’s public welfare affairs by local leaders. 2) compare the participation of local leaders in the administration of the Sangha’s public welfare affairs.
3) study the guidelines. Development of local leaders’ participation in the administration of clergy affairs regarding public welfare. By applying the principles of Sangha Vatthu 4, it is an integrated research method. The research sample consisted of 399 people and 12 key informants. The tools used were questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed using a social science package. and analyze the content and context
The research results found that
1. The level of participation in the administration of the Sangha’s public welfare affairs by local leaders in Mueang Khon Kaen Dist rict. Khon Kaen Province in all 5 areas,
overall at a high level. The average value was 3.53. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect of helping and supporting It has the highest average of 3.70, followed by
assistance and participation in the public domain. Supporting government or private businesses Providing temple buildings and locations for the benefit of the people and assistance to disaster victims The average values were 3.50, 3.49, 3.49, and 3.50, respectively.
2. The results of comparing the participation in the administration of the Sangha’s public welfare affairs by local leaders in Mueang Khon Kaen District. Khon Kaen Province found that local leaders with gender, age, and educational level and the length of time in office are different. Participation in the administration of the Sangha’s affairs in the field of public welfare is different, with statistical significance at the 0.05 level.
3. Guidelines for developing participation in the administration of Sangha affairs local leader Should participate in the administration of the Sangha’s public welfare affairs. You should take care of and keep it neat and tidy. There is a development and patronage plan. Should provide assistance in developing the temple by thinking together with the Sangha in helping the people.
