Abstract

The purposes of this study were to develop a short course training program to enhance Thai teaching ability to use visible thinking approach for Thai teachers in International Schools and to evaluate its effectiveness. The research sample was 32 primary teachers who teaching Thai language in international schools that are members of International school Association of Thailand (ISATI. The short course training program consists of visible thinking tools which are See Think Wonder, I used to think/Now Ithink, Think Puzzle Explore ,Connect Extend Challenge ,CSI: Color Symbol Image, Word Phrase Sentence, and Headlines. The collected data were examined using mean, percentage and standard deviation. The finding revealed that the teachers, who were successfully trained by this short course training program, obtain knowledge of visible thinking approach higher than before attending the program at the highest statically significant .01 Level.
Moreover, the participants have shown the satisfactory in the short course training program with the highest score ( X = 4.24, S.D. =.98 ).
