Adjustment to the Number of Peer Reviewers for Research Articles

To enhance the efficiency and flexibility of the manuscript review process, the Journal of Politics and Governance announces the following adjustment to external peer review criteria:

Number of reviewers: The number of peer reviewers per manuscript will be reduced from three (3) to two (2).

Effective date: This adjustment applies to manuscripts submitted on or after 1 January 2026.

The journal will continue to uphold rigorous academic standards and maintain confidentiality for both authors and reviewers through a double-blind peer review process in accordance with international standards.
