People’s Participation for Making Development Plan of Khoksawang Sub-district Administrative Organization, Phanomprai District, Roi Et Province

Abstract

The study of People’s participation for making Development plan of KhokSawang Subdistrict Administrative Organization Phanomprai district Roi Et Province aims to study and compare people’s participation for making Development plan of KhokSawang Subdistrict Administrative Organization by studying the comments from voters in the district of KhokSawang Subdistrict Administrative Organization Phanomprai district Roi Et Province of 348 people, which is obtained by stratified random sampling. The Instruments used to collect the data were the rating scale type questionnaire with 5 levels of 25 items. The discrimination ranging from 0.63 to 0.89 and the reliability was 0.98. The statistic used to analyze data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and hypothesis testing with t-test method (Independent Samples) and F-test (One-way ANOVA)
The results of the study were as follows. 1. People’s participation for making development plan of Khok Sawang Sub - district Administrative Organization as overall and all aspect were at moderate level, sorting arithmetic mean from highest to lowest were the participation requirements search problem, the participation analysis problem needs, the participation planning implementation, the participation operations and the participation monitoring and evaluation. 2. The people classified by their gender, age, occupation, education, average monthly income, marital status, period of residence and perceptions of news were different suggests that people participation in the plan making of Khok Sawang Sub - district Administrative Organization overall and all aspect were not different. In summary, the people in KhokSawang Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phanomprai district, Roi Et Province have commented that people’s participation for making development plan of Khok Sawang Sub-district Administrative Organization overall and each aspect in all aspects in the moderate level are not different. Therefore, the local administrators and personnel involved should take the information in the revised plan on the development people’s participation for making development plan of Khok Sawang Sub-district Administrative Organization to increase the efficiency.
