The Development of Logistics Model for Thailand’s Environment to ASEAN

Abstract

The development of infrastructure system in logistics for Thailand’s environment to ASEAN has to analyze about the complement of group of people who will gain and loss benefit from the policy of development of infrastructure in logistics system in Thailand with the usage of logistics system concept for environment by using the European idea that uses the distribution of linkage point of commodity distribution network to the city or regional area of the country which in Thailand when considers for the geographical feature and environment of the country, it is able to use the method of commodity distribution to 5 parts that are the northern part, the southern part, the eastern part, the western part and the central part will be the center hub of the point to receive commodity from Bangkok, Laem Chabang port including the route from Dawei to Karnjanaburi Province and the project of the bridge that links the network of Pakbara port at Satool Province that will use the linkage point in the southern part. From the idea of transportation in the type of rail system, will be used as the connector of the 5 parts together in order to reduce the duration of transportation time and to save the fuel and energy, to decrease the problem of traffic in the city and community and the most important thing, it is the creating of good quality of life of people that live in the city and community, besides, it is also the reducing of noise and air pollution in the city. Moreover, it can expand the logistics network to the ASEAN countries to have the center hub in sending and receiving commodity in each region of ASEAN member countries.
