The Cluster Policy of General Prayuth Chan-ocha Government and the Opportunity of Thailand in ASEAN Economic Community

Abstract
The cluster policy of General Prayuth Chan-ocha Governmentis aimed to enhance Thailand competitiveness. Meanwhile, the establishment of ASEAN Economic Community will affect Thailand. The cluster policy will bring about opportunities for Thailand to expand export, market, income and increase the opportunity in trade. The cluster policy will also open up opportunities for Thai capitals with highly comparative advantage to expand their markets and customers in intra – ASEAN. In addition, the relocation of production base to less production cost country will lead to increasing competitiveness. Therefore, the cluster policy will provide Thailand with greater opportunity in ASEAN Economic Community.
