Operational Standards for Strengthening the Stability of the Elderly in Cross-Generation Family of the Local Government Organizations in Nakhon Phanom Province

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to 1) study the level of operational standards for strengthening the stability of the elderly in cross-generation family of the Local Government Organizations in Nakhon Phanom Province, 2) to compare the opinions of the elderly towards the operational standards for strengthening the stability of the elderly in cross-generation family of the Local Government Organizations in Nakhon Phanom Province, which was a quantitative research. The research sample consisted of 420 elderly people in a cross-generation family, using the method of calculating the sample size according to the Taro Yamane formula. The instrument used for collecting the data was a scale questionnaire. It was estimated that the confidence value for the whole issue was 0.85. The statistics used in the analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test statistics and F-test statistics. The results of the research were as follows: 1) The level of operational standards for strengthening the stability of the elderly in cross-generation family of the Local Government Organizations in Nakhon Phanom Province as a whole and in each aspect were at a moderate level. The aspect with the highest average value was the knowledge development promotion of the elderly, followed by the social protection for the elderly, the preparation of the population for the elderly, the promotion of health development of the elderly, the management and economic development for the elderly, respectively. 2) The elderly with the highest level of education had different opinions on the standard for strengthening the stability of the elderly in cross-generation family of the Local
