The Effects of Hybrid Learning Model on Problem-Solving Skills Development among Ninth-Grade Students
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research is Quasi-experimental research. Research objectives are the effectiveness of using a hybrid learning model (HLM) to develop problem-solving skills for grade 9 students. Research instruments include lesson plans, online lessons, problem-solving skills test and learning achievement test. Statistics for data analysis include mean and standard deviation, t-test independent, and t-test dependent. Research results are: 1) the use of the HLM for grade 9 students found that the learning achievement of the experiment group was higher than the control group with statistical significance at the .05 level. 2) Problem-solving skills obtained from HLM of grade 9 students, as the experiment group was higher than the control group with statistical significance at the .05 level. It can be concluded that the hybrid learning model enhances learning achievement and develops problem-solving skills, aligning with 21st-century skills for learners.
