Management of Foreign Workers According to The Problem of Myamar Workers Illegally Entering the Border Area in Ranong Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study problem condition of f Myanmar workers smuggling in illegally entering the border area in Ranong Province 2) to study the impact of the problem of Myanmar workers smuggling in illegally entering the border area in Ranong Province 3) to study the management of foreign workers to solve the problem of Myanmar workers smuggling in illegally entering the border area in Ranong Province and 4) to study the guidelines of management foreign workers to solve the problem of Myanmar workers smuggling in illegally entering the border area in Ranong Province. It is qualitative research. There were a total of 30 key informants by making a specific selection. The research tools were in-depth interviews and focus groups with analyzing data using content analysis.
The results of the research found that the problem of Myanmar workers illegally immigrating has affected Ranong Province in terms of economics, security, society, and public health. The management of foreign workers consists of 5 areas: 1) Controlling, supervising, supervising the process of entry during work and departure of foreign workers 2) Setting standards for hiring foreign workers to meet international standards 3) Monitoring and evaluating 4) Labor management efficient foreign workers and 5) labor organization to reduce dependency on foreign workers. As for the guidelines for management of foreign workers according to the labor management strategy to solve the problem of Myanmar workers Illegally entering the Border Area in Ranong Province, the guidelines include 1) control and legal action, 2) creating jobs and opportunities in the country of origin, and 3) Strengthening international cooperation
