The Congruence of Human Behavior According to D.I.S.C Theory and Six Temperaments in Buddhism

Abstract

This academic article is aimed to analyse the congruence of human behaviour according to D.I.S.C theory (Dominance, Influential, Steadiness and Compliance) and six Carita in Buddhism (Rāga : lust, Dosa: hatred, Moha: delusion, Saddhā: faith, Vitakka: speculation, and Buddhi: intelligence) by categorized the behaviour in accordance with each temperament correspondingly which found that Dominance style matches to Dosa-Carita, Influential matches to Buddhi-Carita mixed with Vitakka-Carita, Steadiness matches to Rāga-Carita mixed with Moha-Carita, and Compliance matches to Saddhā-Carita. The author hopes that this article is going to help in well-understanding the human behaviour and deep habit including to know the solution guidelines which is beneficial to develop the human resources and modify the appropriate behavior resulting personality growth.
