Abstract

The objectives of this Dissertation were as follows: 1) To study the concepts and theories of socialization 2) To study the principles of socialization 3) To integrate principles of socialization 4) To offer new knowledge about " Socialization According to Buddhism" This research is qualitative research by collecting documents (Documenty Investigation), in-depth interview (Key Informants) in the in-depth interview. -depth Interview with a specific model and focus group for 16 experts and experts. The research instrument was an open-ended interview. Analyze data through content analysis and descriptive demonstrations Research findings
The research results found that
1. The concept and theory of socialization have found that socialization is an important process of adjusting behavior, thoughts, and knowledge. A person's beliefs should be appropriate in three aspects: the first is a component of behavior, which is the process of imparting discipline. Rules, rules, second aspect, meditation or psychological elements. It conveys the values of cultivating morality, namely strengthening mental health suitable for work and the three elements of intelligence. It is the transfer of various knowledge or skills. These three elements of socialization aim to enable humans to exhibit the ideal behaviors set by social groups.
2. Dharma principles in socialization. It was found that the Trisikkha principle is an important principle in socialization both behavioral aspect with avoidance of precepts as control; Concentration or mind with Concentration is the direction and wisdom is the pursuit of knowledge supported by wisdom.
3. Integration of dharma principles in socialization according to Buddhism found that cultivating behaviors by integrating them with precepts leads to discipline, orderliness in life and coexistence in society. to be suitable for development and to provide opportunities for development psychological refinement by integrating with the principle of meditation to have mercy generosity The ability of the mind is strong and stable. to make efforts life responsibility polishing of knowledge by integrating with the wisdom to have an opinion, knowledge, understanding, and rationale Knowing, diagnosing, reflecting, examining, thinking, being creative
4. The body of knowledge about socialization according to Buddhism is called MATA Model M, which is Morality, means polishing one's conduct. with sali as the control, A is Attention, refers to the refinement of the mind, with concentration as the dictator, T is Transfer, means the refinement of knowledge. with a supportive A is Ability means to improve behavior leading to life skill changes. Psychological refinement leads to enhanced life skills. And the refinement of knowledge leads to the creation of new skills in life.
