Abstract

The thesis has three objectives (1) to study students' self-motivation level
and (2) to compare the diffence of motivation for self-development of Vietnamese
students in Mahachulalongkorn- rajavidyalaya University. The sample consisted of 150
students from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya
University. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Statistics for data analyzing
consisted of percentage, mean, standard deviation, dependent samples t-test, and Ftest
(ANOVA).
The results of research were found as follows:
Self-motivation motivation of Vietnamese students in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya
University as specific aspects are at a high level. Based on the mean, the
high mean is the learning aspect on a further education is on hight level, The lowest
level was the training.
Self-motivation motivation of Vietnamese students in Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya
University students according to independent variables, it found that
students with different training experience have different level of motivation for selfimprovement
at significance level of .05.
