Abstract

A noble individual, who has worked for the realization of the four noble truths and cessation of defilements. The four noble truths are suffering or anything is not permanent that remains changed (Dukkha), the origin of suffering as craving (Samudaya), the cessation of suffering (Nirodha) and the path leading to the cessation of suffering (Magga). Dukkha and Samudaya are worldly states to the cycle of rebirth, Nirodha and Magga are supramundane states to freedom from rebirth.
