The Development of the Low Register Exercises for Bassoon

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were: 1) To develop training skills for playing the low register of the Bassoon. For bassoonist in higher education institutions, 2) To study the effectiveness of the low register exercises for bassoon at the higher education level. The sample group was 7 bassoonist at a higher level in Bangkok and surrounding areas. The tools used in the research consisted of the low register exercises for bassoon at the higher education level and an assessment of the suitability of the low register exercises for bassoon at the higher education level. The data will be analyzed by mean, percentage, and standard deviation. Conformity index value and finding the efficiency of innovation. It was found that the low register exercises for bassoon at the higher education level has high suitability evaluation results ( x = 4.47, S.D. = 0.55) and the low register exercises for bassoon at the higher education level demonstrated an impressive efficiency of 88.85/85.71, surpassing the researcher’s set criteria of 80/80, further validating the program’s success.
