Abstract

It is a quantitative research The population used in the research was people in the area of Bang Chana Sub-district, Muang District, Surat Thani Province, 325 people. The tools used for data collection were questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency values, percentage values, exactness values, confidence values, mean, and standard deviation. The results of research were found that 1)Development of quality of life according to Brahmawihara Dhamma principles of the people in the area of Bang Chana Sub-district, Mueang District, Surat Thani Province Overall, overall, the average ( = 4.15) was at a high level, The aspect with the highest average was the Ubekkha aspect (not be glad, not sorry when others to misfortune) the mean value ( = 4.31) was at a high level, followed by Mudita aspect (rejoices when others are be successful), mean ( = 4.14) at a high level, and the aspect with the lowest mean was the mercy aspect (Compassion will help you get out of suffering) mean ( = 4.06) was at a high level, respectively. 2)Recommendations and guidelines for promoting the development of quality of life according to the Brahmawihara Dhamma principles of the people in the area of Bang Chana Sub-District, Mueang District, Surat Thani Province. Most of them agreed that they should give importance to by encouraging people to implement the principles of Dhamma. Make people in the community love good wishes to each other have generosity for each other have a good relationship in the community. Encourage everyone strives for the common good rather than the personal benefit. Organize occupation training and provide a community market where Vocational trainees can sell products obtained from vocational training. To create continuous development from creating careers for population, community leaders. Should promote local cultural traditions for future generations to preserve indigenous culture.
