Study the Educational Requirements for an Associate's Program of Islamic Studies : Case Study of Phang Nga Community College

Abstract

Study the educational requirements for an associate's program of Islamic Studies : Case Study of Phang Nga Community College. The Objective of study is to be the educational requirements foran associate's program  of Islamic Studiesthe Diploma program Department of Islamic Studies Case Study of Phang Nga Community College. The population was 1,684 students and related persons of religious schools in the province and nearby.The sample consisted of 1,201 students by Accidental Sampling. The research tool is a survey of educational needs for an associate's program of Islamic Studies Phang Nga Community College divided into 3 partsa follows: 1)Personal information is in the platform of a check list of 4 items and 5 open-ended questions. 2)The basic details of the an associate's program  of Islamic Studies and the interest of studying in a check list of 4 itemsAnd 3)the comments and the suggestions are an open ended question, The research results were found that there were the most female respondents in the surveyin 64.86 percent, the most aged between 17-25 yearsin 98.08 percent, the current occupation of the students in 98.33 percent, the highest level of education being in a high schoolin 92.42 percent, the students holding as a status studentin 95.17 percent,the most student studying at DarisSalamwittaya Schoolin 12.49 percent, 1,176 people who provided basic information such as the school study, name-surname, address, telephone and e-mail / Line ID / Facebook, the most interested people to apply in 62.78 percent, the most problem or obstacle in getting to the place of study in 27.73 percent, a need foran associate's program  of Islamic Studies,Phang Nga Community College. Thap Put District, Phang Nga Province in 48.54 percent and The demand for the Saturday-Sunday period study in 74.69 percent.
