Study of Mathematics Learning Achievement Based on Constructivist Theory and Brainstorming Through Online Learning Management.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop mathematics learning activities based on theoretical concepts and 2) to find the effectiveness index of mathematics learning activities based on constructivist theory combined with brainstorming techniques. through online learning management and 3) developing academic achievement for students of not less than 70 percent with academic achievement passing the criteria of 70 percent or more. The sample used in the research was undergraduate students. Electrical Engineering, 1st-year students enrolled in Calculus 1, semester 1, academic year 2022, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, totaling 34 students by group random sampling. The tools used in the research are: a learning activity plan, a learning behaviour observation record form and an achievement test

The study implemented a five-step learning activity plan grounded in constructivist theory and incorporating online brainstorming techniques within an online learning management system (LMS). The effectiveness index of these activities was determined to be 0.6796, signifying a moderately positive impact on student learning outcomes.
