A Study on Freshmen’s Expectations Towards the Instruction of the Faculty of Education and Development Sciences, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus

The purpose of this research was to study the freshmen’s expectations towards the instruction of the Faculty of Education and Development Sciences, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus. The population in this research was 309 freshmen who were studying in the academic year 2019 in the Bachelor of Education Program in Learning Management, and Bachelor of Science Program in Agricultural and Environmental Education. The instrument used this research was the 5 rating scale questionnaire with the content validity ranged from 0.67–1.00, and the internal reliability with Cronbach's alpha coefficient at 0.80. Descriptive statistics used were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results of the research showed that the freshmen’s expectations towards the instruction of the Faculty of Education and Development Sciences, Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus in the four aspects were at a high level. The expectations were ranked from highest to lowest using the average score obtained from analyzing the data. The ranking of expectations were as follows: 1) Care, support and assistance, 2) After graduation, 3) Curriculum and instruction, and 4) Instructors.
