บทคัดย่อ

การเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็วของสังคมปัจจุบัน สร้างให้เกิดผลกระทบต่อองค์การและบุคคลอย่างมหาศาล การพัฒนาให้บุคคลทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงและนำพาองค์การให้อยู่รอดนั้นจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในปัจจุบันองค์การต่างๆเริ่มสนใจวิธีการพัฒนาคนจากข้างในสู่ข้างนอก (inside-out) คือ การพัฒนาสติและการพัฒนาคนในระดับลึกถึงจิตวิญญาณ  บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) นำเสนอเรื่องการพัฒนาสติ (mindfulness) ในเชิงงานวิจัยและการปฏิบัติ และ 2) จิตวิญญาณองค์กร (workplace spirituality) ซึ่งเป็นเรื่องที่ใหม่มากในประเทศไทย 3) เชื่อมโยงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสติและจิตวิญญาณองค์กร และ4) เสนอแนะแนวทางในการพัฒนาสติและจิตวิญญาณองค์กร ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยค้นพบว่างานศึกษาวิจัยทางด้านสติและจิตวิญญาณองค์การนั้นยังมีช่องว่างให้พัฒนาเพื่อเสริมองค์ความรู้ให้เข้มแข็งในบริบทของการจัดการ โดยการใช้วิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ วิจัยกึ่งทดลอง/ทดลอง การศึกษาตัวแปรทำนายผลของจิตวิญญาณองค์กรซึ่งยังมีน้อย รวมทั้งข้อเสนอแนะในทางปฏิบัติในการพัฒนาสติ เช่น ใช้วิธีการเจริญสติสั้นๆก่อนการประชุม การหยุดอย่างมีสติ ส่วนการส่งเสริมจิตวิญญาณองค์กรควรเริ่มต้นตั้งแต่การตั้งเป้าหมายขององค์การที่คำนึงถึงความดีงาม คุณธรรม จริยธรรม และการตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียทั้งในระดับจิตใจ จิตวิญญาณ การสร้างวัฒนธรรม การบริหารจัดการทรัพยากรมนุษย์ ที่สอดคล้องกับค่านิยมทางจิตวิญญาณ และการเป็นตัวแบบของผู้นำในทางปฏิบัติ ความสอดคล้องรอยเรียงกันทุกระดับส่วนขององค์การนี้จะช่วยให้การสร้างจิตวิญญาณองค์กรนั้นยั่งยืนต่อไป
