การประเมินกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ เจตคติต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ และความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 และ 5 ในจังหวัดปัตตานีที่มีต่อกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ

Abstract

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ เปรียบเทียบเจตคติที่มีต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ ก่อนและหลังการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ และประเมินความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 และ 5 ของโรงเรียนในจังหวัดปัตตานี

กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 และ 5 จากโรงเรียนในจังหวัดปัตตานี 19 โรง โรงละ 2 คน จำนวน 38 คน ซึ่งได้มาจากความสมัครใจของนักเรียน โดยใช้ระยะเวลาในการทดลอง 5 วัน ตั้งแต่วันที่ 4-8 เมษายน 2548 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตปัตตานี

เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้แก่ 1. แบบประเมินประสิทธิภาพกิจกรรมที่ใช้ 2. แบบสอบถามเพื่อวัดเจตคติที่มีต่อการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ 3. แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจเกี่ยวกับกิจกรรมค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ สถิติที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือค่าเฉลี่ย

ผลการศึกษาวิจัยพบว่า

1. เกมและกิจกรรมในค่ายภาษาอังกฤษมีประสิทธิภาพสูง

2. เจตคติต่อการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียน เพิ่มขึ้นหลังการเข้าค่ายภาษาอังกฤษ

Attitudes and Satisfaction of Mattayom 4 - 5 Students in Pattani Towards the English Camp Activities

The purposes of this study were to examine the effectiveness of the English Camp activities, students’ attitudes towards learning English before and after participating in the English Camp activities and their satisfaction towards the activities. Thirty-eight Mattayomsuksa 4 and 5 students from 19 different schools in Pattani, 2 from each, voluntarily joined the English Camp activities held for 5 days from April 4 to April 8, 2005 at Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus.

The instruments used in this study were an activity observation form, a questionnaire on students’ attitudes towards learning English and a questionnaire on students’ opinions of the camp activities.

The data were analyzed by using mean scores. The findings were as follows.

1. Games and activities utilized in the English camp were rated highly effective.

2. The students had positive attitudes towards learning English after participating in the English Camp.

3. The students were highly satisfied with the games and activities used in the English Camp.
