คุณค่าของบทประพันธ์ในรวมบทกวีนิพนธ์ บ้านเก่า ของโชคชัย บัณฑิต

Abstract

บทความนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษารวมบทกวีนิพนธ์บ้านเก่า ของโชคชัย บัณฑิต’ ในแง่ความสัมพันธ์ของรูปแบบกับเนื้อหา อันเป็นปัจจัยของคุณค่าเชิงสุนทรียะและเชิงปัญญา

ผลการศึกษาแสดงว่า กวีมีความสำนึกในความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมที่จะกระตุ้นเตือน การพินิจพิจารณาและวิพากษ์วิจารณ์พฤติกรรมสังคม และตรวจสอบวิธีคิดที่ดำรงอยู่ทั้งที่ สืบต่อจากอดีตและสร้างใหม่ โดยเฉพาะค่านิยมหรือความเชื่อที่ทำให้เกิดความสับสนทาง คุณค่า แสดงความเปลี่ยนแปร ซึ่งเป็นปฏิปักษ์ต่อคุณค่าอันพึงประสงค์ โดยนำข้อบกพร่องที่ พบเห็นกันอย่างชาชินแม้ดูเล็กน้อยมาชี้ให้เห็น และกระตุ้นให้ผู้อ่านครุ่นคิดถึงคุณค่าที่แท้จริง ในอุดมคติซึ่งเป็นคุณค่าที่ควรเชิดชู นั่นคือการรักษาและกอบกู้คุณค่าทางจิตวิญญาณ ให้คงอยู่ ท่ามกลางความผันผวนในกระแสบริโภคนิยม

ประสิทธิผลในการสร้างสรรค์บทประพันธ์ที่สามารถสื่อความหมายที่มีคุณค่าทาง ปัญญาดังกล่าวนี้เกิดขึ้นได้ด้วยการใช้ประโยชน์จากขนบวรรณศิลป์ไทย คือการปรับใช้ฉันทลักษณ์ เพื่อสื่อความหมายที่เหมาะกับบริบท ใช้ระดับภาษาในชีวิตประจำวันประสานกับคำทำเนียบกวี ในรากวัฒนธรรมทางวรรณศิลป์ที่เทียบเคียงได้กับงานสมัยก่อน โวหารและสัญลักษณ์ รวมทั้ง สร้างความประสานด้วยองค์ประกอบที่ขัดกันเพื่อสื่อสารความหมายซ่อนเร้น

Literary Values in Ban Kao by Chokchai Bundit

This article aimed to study Chokchai Bundit’s poem collection, Ban Kao, through the investigation of the relationship between his literary style and contents which are the attributes of aesthetic and intellectual values.

It was found that the poet possessed a sense of social responsibility in alerting the scrutiny and the criticism of social behavior and examining the existing ways of thinking and the newly constructed ones, particularly the changing values and beliefs causing confusion and opposing the desirable values. The poet accomplished this by pointing out the use the common though trivial flaws and urging the audience to contemplate on the real idealistic values which should be cherished, that is, to preserve and redeem the spiritual values amid the uncertainty of the consumeristic world.

The poetic creation which effectively conveyed such spiritual values was benefited from the Thai literary tradition. The poet adapted the versification so as to communicate the meaning appropriate to the context, combined everyday language with poetic register rooted in literary culture, comparable to traditional works, used figurative language and symbols and employed conflicting elements to create harmony as well as to carry subtle meanings.
