Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์ด้านวรรณคดีแบบฉบับของไทย (พ.ศ.2531-2540) โดยภาพรวมยังคงมีจุดอ่อน อันเกิดจากกระบวนการศึกษาที่ฟ้องการขาดความรู้และทักษะทางวรรณคดีวิจารณ์ โดยเฉพาะการตั้งโจทย์วิจัย รวมทั้งการวิเคราะห์ ตีความ และมโนทัศน์ในการประเมินคุณค่าวรรณคดี ยังซ้ำรอยวิทยานิพนธ์ในทศวรรษก่อน แม้มีวิทยานิพนธ์บางเล่มที่สร้างองค์ความรู้ อันน่าจะเอื้อประโยชน์แก่วงวรรณคดีศึกษา แต่ก็ยังไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อการวิจัยในระยะนี้เท่าที่ควร

Theses in Classic Thai Literature (1988 – 1997)

An investigation of theses in classic Thai literature from 1988 to 1997 reveals several weaknesses resulting from inadequate knowledge and skills in literary criticism, especially in establishing research questions, analysis and interpretation, and in the concept regarding literary evaluation. Consequently, the studies of classic Thai literature in this period are just replication of those in the former decade. Although some theses have set up bodies of knowledge contributing to literary study, their influences still remain negligible.
