บทสวดบูชารอยพระพุทธบาทของภาคใต้: ความสอดคล้องของคติจากไตรภูมิพระร่วงสู่รอยพระพุทธบาท

Abstract

บทความฉบับนี้มุ่งศึกษาวิเคราะห์สิ่งมงคลที่ปรากฏในบทสวด บูชารอยพระพุทธบาทของภาคใต้และคติในไตรภูมิพระร่วง ผลการศึกษา ทำให้ทราบว่าบทสวดบูชารอยพระพุทธบาทมีความสอดคล้องกับ คติในไตรภูมิพระร่วงในลักษณะได้รับอิทธิพลต่อกัน โดยการนำเอา เนื้อหาเรื่องสุคติภูมิในไตรภูมิพระร่วงมาสลักเป็นสิ่งมงคลใน รอยพระพุทธบาทของอาณาจักรสุโขทัย ต่อมาเมื่อปราชญ์ทาง พระพุทธศาสนาของภาคใต้ได้นมัสการจึงนำเรื่องราวสิ่งมงคลดังกล่าว มาแต่งเป็นบทสวดบูชารอยพระพุทธบาทของภาคใต้Southern Ritual Texts of Buddha's Footprint and Moral Lessons in Trai Bhum Pra Ruang (Three Worlds)

This article examined the southern ritual texts for Buddha’s footprint and moral lessons in Trai Bhum Pra Ruang. The study showed that the subject matter in the former was highly influenced by the latter. Evidently, the subject matter regarding ‘happy destination’ (Sugati) in Trai Bhum Pra Ruang was found in the Sukhothai ritual texts for Buddha’s footprint. Afterwards, the Buddhist scholars in southern Thailand used such contents to write southern the ritual texts for Buddha’s footprint.
