Abstract

The objectives of this study were to investigate: 1) Study of characteristics of people and characteristics of local administrative organizations; 2) Analyze the characteristics of local government organizations related to disaster management and 3) Analysis of public factors affecting flood disaster management; Data were collected by using questionnaire people from 398 samples and Interviews with 33 local government officials. Analysis by using frequency, percentage, mean, minimum, maximum, standard deviation, and Chi-square test of independent.

The research found that Characteristics of people Most of the people are female. Average age 39 years. Most religions are Islamic and marital status. The level of general education is at the upper secondary level and Religious education is at the upper secondary level (Saraweed) Mostly. Most of the samples were farmers have average income 13,704.79 Baht per month. Most people do not have a social position. People get information on flood disaster an average of 1 time per month. Received training on flood disaster on average once a month and the average flood disaster is monitored twice a month. Features of Local Government 33. It is divided into 21 river tributaries and Lower 12 river tributaries.

Analyzing the characteristics of the local government organizations involved in flood disaster management in all four aspects Include. The establishment of the Division of Defense is at a high level. The level of knowledge gained was high. The information received was moderate and Communication is at a high level and Factors affecting public attributes affecting flood disaster management include Ordinary education having a social position and to be trained
