The Studying of the Principle and Concept of Instruction of Rhythmic Music

Abstract

The study of the principle and concept of instruction of rhythmic music aimed: to learn the principle and concept of rhythmic music instruction, and introduce the instruction approach of rhythmic music in applications of learner’s development. This study comprised two parts of lessons: music theory (music knowledge in the rhythmic music instruction); and music performance (rhythm skills). The result unveiled: 1) in the instruction of rhythmic music, it is requisite that learners attain the capability through the reinforncement of fundamental music knowledge and skills; and 2) learner’s development, divided into 2 elements: music theory (beat, rhythm, note symbols, note values and time singnture); and music performance (rhythmic dictation, note values, sight-reading and ear Training)
